I'm R. B. Isaias Couch, and I'm the owner of Alacorn Computer Enterprises. And here is where you find out something about the man your dealing with when you order from Us.

I'm 46, live in sunny southern California, and have been blind for about 25 years. I lost my sight due to diabetes, and as well suffered an accident that had me in a wheelchair for almost two years, with a doctor diagnosis of my not being able to properly walk again(smile, luckily I proved that doctor wrong) due to damage to my spine. so I know both the troubles of the blind, and the physically impaired all to well.

A few years after I lost my eyesight, a friend of mine asked me to play a game with him on his home computer. I had not looked at a home computer since high school, which was the days of the TRS 80C, one of the first color computers, and found myself amazed at how far home computers had come along.

after that I started investigating the computer and adaptive equipment markets, and although the machinery was wonderful, and opened the world back up to me in a way I had thought lost forever. I also discovered the market to be filled with impersonal, cold, uncaring, and many times rude people.

it was then that I decided to found a company that could supply the needs of all computer users, both the general public, and those with disadvantages, and to do so with caring, and so was born Alacorn Computer Enterprises, a place where each order, each request, everything we do, will be done with thoughtfulness for the customer and there needs.
